At the end of 2023, Lewis Hamilton’s contract with Mercedes expires, so he must decide whether to stay in Formula 1 with or without his current team.
Both he and Toto Wolff, the Anglo-German team’s CEO, discussed the issue during the final Grand Prix of 2022 and both saw an openness to continue working together.
On Sunday afternoon, the Brackley team posted on social media some words from the seven-time world champion, in which he expressed his love for them.

Wolff himself revealed that despite a complicated season, the dialogue is still on track for a deal.
